My Story
Hey everyone! My name is Brandie Matherne. I have been a Scentsy Independent Consultant for almost 6 years! (WOW! Time sure does fly by when your having fun!) Anyway...I joined Scentsy to help cover my own addiction to these amazing products! I figured why not earn something back on the money I was spending right?
I received my kit the night before my wedding and had my launch party the day after (I joke and tell my husband that he married Scentsy when he married me!) Well..In the almost 6 years since joining we have to go through so much as a family and my "why" with Scentsy has changed so many times! My most recent was my battle with triple negative lobular carcinoma (fancy way of saying I had breast cancer). It was an uphill battle for a LONG time! During my battle with breast cancer, I also underwent 2 back surgeries and 1 neck surgery. I felt my faith and soul wilting! The one thing (other than God and my family) that was there for me was Scentsy! On those days that I simply couldn't go on...Scentsy gave me a purpose. It seemed that on my darkest days, there was always a "new release" or some kind of special that would come out that would take my mind off the negative stuff and give me a reason to smile! Well, Im happy to announce that I went into remission in November and the drs are hopeful that the last surgery was successful and that It wont return! Fingers crossed and the Good Lord willing..they will be right! Anyway...Im so happy that you have taken time to read this and I hope and pray that if you are having a bad day, that you will just take a moment to breath!
